Collibra® Recognized as a Leader by Independent Research Firm
New York, NY, February 25, 2016 — Collibra, a leader in data governance software solutions for business users, today announced it has been named a leader by Forrester Research in The Forrester WaveTM: Data Governance and Stewardship Applications, Q1 2016*. This report notes how a new market for data governance application is emerging, in which both technical and business staff manage policies. Forrester terms the new form of data governance DG 2.0.
According to the report, “Collibra is a good solution for customers seeking data governance that can extend enterprise-wide across a variety of different domains and use cases. Among emerging vendors, Collibra has the largest market presence, demonstrating its ability to support its various customers.“
Collibra received the highest score for strategy among all the category vendors. Forrester evaluates strategy based upon: 1) product strategy, including planned enhancements, key partners, and the vendor’s view of their target market and 2) product pricing and pricing options.
