New York, January 8, 2019 — Collibra, the leader in enterprise data governance and catalog software, today announced the appointment of Jim Cushman as Chief Product Officer, a new role for the company. An accomplished senior executive with a strong track record of innovation and growth, Cushman will drive the firm’s product portfolio to support customers on their digital transformation journey.
Armed with 20 years of enterprise data experience, Cushman joins Collibra from Veeva Systems, a leader in cloud-based software for the global life sciences industry. Previously he served as president of commercial & products at Novetta Solutions, an advanced analytics company. Prior to that, he was the general manager and senior vice president of products & services for Initiate Systems, a best-of-breed MDM company that was acquired by IBM in 2010, where he was the vice president of engineering and the director of master data management.
